A political ad/campaign video for Kristie Johnson, Glenorchy City Council Mayor, as part of her independent candidacy for the seat of Clark at the 2021 Tasmanian state election.
What we delivered:
Angus Ashton and Daniel Peek shot the campaign piece in various locations around the division of Clark including Granton, Glenorchy and South Hobart. Director Daniel Peek delivered the edit in a short timeframe for use online and on social platforms.
Ashton & Peek were engaged to create a refreshing political campaign ad featuring the popular Glenorchy city council mayor in and around the electorate of Clark. The Tasmanian State election for the House of Assembly was held on Saturday 1st May 2021. Kristie Johnston won the final seat in Clark with 11% of the primary vote and her win was the first time an independent candidate had won a seat in the Tasmanian House of Assembly since Bruce Goodluck in 1996.
