An edit by Angus Ashton for 313RGB. Once again consorting in the darkness 313RGB performed live A/V with UK’s renowned industrial firebrand Ansome for Melbourne heavyweight Bunker’s 5th Birthday held at the Substation, a disused power station on the outskirts of Melbourne.
313RGB devised a large format screen system which enveloped the artists in the depths of live projection. Focusing on the thematic of Chaotic Brutalism, it was channelled through stripped-back monochromatic signal decay, analogue/digital feedback & compressed geometric form. Reflecting the raw and powerful sonic performances, creating a geometric disfigured atmosphere for the event.
