Department of Education
A video created for the Department of Education Tasmania to raise the profile of the states Field Study Centres that are open to schools and the community. There are 5 field study centres across the state that offer activities and learning in a vast range of areas such as marine studies, agriculture, sustainability, bush education and leadership.
What we delivered:
Angus Ashton Film provided full video production services for the project – handling videography across the state, post-production and delivery of the film in a number of formats for use by the department on its social media channels. The video was shot over 2 days across Tasmania – visiting all 5 field study centres and interviewing key staff. The final edit was delivered within a short-time frame.
The Department of Education engaged us to create a 5 minute video that featured each of the 5 field study centres: Hagley Farm School, Woodbridge Marine Discovery Centre, Sustainability Learning Centre, Molesworth Environment Centre and the Mt. Cameron Field Study Centre. The video gives an overview of the experiences and activities available for schools and visitors from the community. It features interviews with a number of staff from their respective field study centres. The video aimed to engage schools and the community and let them know that the centres have re-opened after a period of closure due to Covid-19.
