We were engaged by Aggreko, global leaders in temporary power generation, to create a short 2D animated video showcasing their innovative medium-sized Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). These state-of-the-art batteries offer a versatile power solution for a range of industries including events, mining operations, construction, and data centres. Noteworthy for their silent operation and environmentally friendly design, these BESS units represent a sustainable alternative to traditional diesel power sources.
Our creative approach focused on transforming static product photographs of the batteries into a dynamic 2D animation that portrayed their applications in action. The simple 50 second animation brought to life the versatility and efficiency of the BESS units. The project, from conceptualisation to completion, was executed within a very short time-frame. The finished video was deployed across Aggreko’s website and social media platforms, effectively showcasing the capabilities of the new battery systems to a global audience. This project is a great example of how animation can bring a concept to life even when having limited content to work with. Starting with just a few product images, our team was able to make a dynamic 2D animation that effectively showcased Aggreko’s new product to their target audience in the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
