An event coverage video for the Tasmanian State Service White Ribbon Night 2018 – “an evening of light against the dark”. The event was held at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery in July 2018.
What we delivered:
Angus Ashton Film covered the government event and provided post production, producing a short highlight video of the evenings proceedings, its guest speakers and attendees. The clip was used on social media channels and internally by government.
The event was held to recognise the departments of the Tasmanian government and their involvement in the White Ribbon initiative in preventing violence against women by men. Numerous speakers spoke throughout the night of the importance of the issue and the progress the government as been making in tackling the national problem. Premier Will Hodgeman and government heads of agency attended the event which featured guest speaker, White Ribbon Ambassador and comedy writer, Chris Taylor. The Tasmanian Department of State Growth commissioned Angus Ashton Film as videographer in Hobart responsible for covering the event and creating a short social media clip of the evening.
