313RGB
An edit for 313RGB by Angus Ashton. Sound to Light — Crossing Borders is a dynamic, playful, chaotic, experimental, social art project that encourages exciting new collaborative partnerships between sound and visual artists.
Traversing cities, locations and festivals, Sound to Light — Crossing Borders reflects interdisciplinary practice and artists/curators’ locality (Melbourne & Hobart) and the extension of new partnerships beyond artists’ current practice and locations. Presented through leading Australian winter festivals: Dark Mofo in Hobart and The Light in Winter in Melbourne, each partnership is given two months to create their work which is then streamed/broadcast simultaneously in real time in a night of cross-media collaboration.
